Websites for heating engineers · Business-in-a-Box

Websites for heating engineers that show the boiler work you want and the Gas Safe details customers look for.

We build and manage websites for gas engineers and boiler installers around the heating work you actually do: new boilers, breakdowns, annual servicing, landlord gas safety records, system upgrades and heat pumps if you fit them. Customers can check your registration, see whether you cover their postcode and ask for a quote from their phone. The site connects to the enquiry, follow-up, reminder and review tools in the £197/month Business-in-a-Box.

£197/month for the complete package. No setup fee. No website fee. No contracts.

BEFORE THEY GET IN TOUCH

What a customer checks before calling a gas engineer.

A family with no heating in January, a landlord with a certificate due and a homeowner pricing a new combi are asking different questions. A good heating website answers each of them on its own page.

Are you Gas Safe registered for this work?

Customers are increasingly told to check the register and look at the back of the ID card, where the categories of work are listed. Showing your registration number and the type of work you are registered for, with a link to the Gas Safe Register check, answers that before they ask.

Can you come out when the boiler has stopped?

Someone with no heating or hot water wants to know if you take breakdown calls, which areas you reach for them, whether there is a call-out charge and which boiler makes you work on. Say it plainly, including when you do not take urgent work.

What will a new boiler involve?

Replacement customers compare options. Explain how you quote (survey, photos or a visit), which brands you fit, what the manufacturer warranty usually depends on, such as annual servicing, and what happens on the day, from flushing the system to fitting controls.

Can you handle my landlord or annual paperwork?

Landlords need a gas safety check every year and a record they can give tenants. Homeowners want a reminder before the service is due. A clear page for each, plus a booking route, makes repeat work simple to arrange.

A PAGE PLAN BUILT AROUND YOUR WORK

The pages a heating engineer's website usually needs.

Your registration categories and the work you want decide the page plan. This is a typical starting point for a domestic gas and heating business. We remove anything you do not offer and add what you do, such as oil, LPG or commercial work.

  1. 01

    Boiler installation and replacement

Combi, system and regular boilers, conversions between them, how you survey and quote, the brands you fit and what is included, such as a system flush, filter and controls.

  2. 02

    Boiler repairs and breakdowns

Common faults you fix, the makes you work on, call-out charges if you have them, the area you cover for urgent visits and what the customer can safely check first, such as boiler pressure.

  3. 03

    Annual boiler servicing

What a service covers, why manufacturer warranties often depend on it and how customers can be reminded each year. Service plans can sit here if you offer them.

  4. 04

    Landlord gas safety records

What the annual check covers, how you arrange access with tenants or agents, how the record is issued and whether you look after portfolios for letting agents.

  5. 05

    Central heating, radiators and powerflushing

Cold spots, noisy systems, radiator moves and replacements, and when a powerflush or chemical clean is the right recommendation rather than a default upsell.

  6. 06

    Smart controls and thermostats

The controls you fit and support, such as smart thermostats and thermostatic radiator valves, and how they work with the customer's boiler.

  7. 07

Heat pumps, if you install them

Air source or ground source work, whether you are MCS certified and can apply for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant on the customer's behalf, and what a survey involves.

  8. 08

Boiler finance, if you offer it

How finance works through your provider, written in the wording they approve, with no promised rates or acceptance. If you do not offer finance, this page is left out.

  9. 09

    Areas you cover

One clear coverage page with your towns and postcode districts, noting any tighter radius for breakdown calls.

A 20–30 page website, not a one-page template.Built around your services, real work and coverage, then connected to your enquiry tools.

PROOF CUSTOMERS LOOK FOR

Credentials worth showing, if you hold them.

We only add registrations, accreditations and insurance you can evidence, and we link to the official checker where one exists. These are the ones heating customers commonly look for.

  • Gas Safe registration number, with the categories of work your registration covers
  • Manufacturer accredited installer status, and the extended warranty terms it lets you offer, if any
  • OFTEC registration for oil-fired boilers and tanks, if you work on oil
  • MCS certification for heat pump installs, which customers need for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme
  • Unvented hot water qualification for cylinder work alongside boiler installs
  • Public liability insurance and the level of cover
  • Your Google Business Profile reviews, linked rather than copied

FROM VISIT TO ENQUIRY

Quote form questions that help a heating engineer decide what to do next.

Quick to fill in on a phone, and specific enough that you know whether it is a breakdown, a service booking or a quote for a new boiler.

How our quote forms work
  • What do they need? (breakdown, new boiler, service, landlord gas safety check, radiators or controls, heat pump, other)
  • Do they currently have heating and hot water?
  • Boiler make and model, or a photo of the boiler and its data badge
  • Fuel type (mains gas, LPG, oil, electric)
  • Postcode of the property
  • Are they the owner, tenant, landlord or letting agent?
  • Best phone number and when they can talk

STRAIGHT ANSWER ON PRICE

What a heating engineer website costs with UK Trade Leads.

See everything in the £197/month package

A heating website is included in the £197/month Business-in-a-Box (usually £297). There is no setup fee and no separate website fee. You keep the website, there is no contract, and you can cancel anytime. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies.

The monthly price also covers the tools heating businesses tend to bolt on separately: a business phone number with missed-call text-back, a shared inbox, a CRM, appointment and annual service reminders, review requests and Google Business Profile setup. If you only want a website and already have the rest in place, our guide to website costs for trades sets out the other routes honestly.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Questions heating engineers ask us.

Anything specific to your business? Bring it to the call and we’ll work through it.

Book a quick call
Should a heating website lead with breakdowns or boiler installs?

That depends on the work you want. Many heating engineers would rather fill their weeks with planned installs and servicing than urgent call-outs. We can make installs and servicing the main route through the site and keep breakdowns on their own page, or the other way round, and you can change it later.

Can the site remind customers when their boiler service is due?

Yes. The Business-in-a-Box includes calendar and reminder tools, so customers who book a service or a landlord gas safety check can be sent a reminder before the next one is due. You choose the timing and the wording.

Can you show my Gas Safe details without copying the logo wrongly?

We show your registration number and link to the Gas Safe Register check so customers can confirm it themselves. Logo use follows the rules of each scheme, and we only add registrations, accreditations and categories of work you tell us you hold.

I am starting to fit heat pumps. Should that be on the site now?

Only once you can do the work. If you are MCS certified, a heat pump page can explain the survey and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. If you are still training, we can leave it off until you are ready, so customers are not misled.

Do I need a page for every town I cover?

Usually not. A single coverage page listing your towns and postcode districts, linked from each service page, does the job for most heating businesses. Pages that only swap the town name are treated by Google as low value. If you have real installs and a genuine local story in an area, a separate page can be worth it.

Can you put my boiler prices on the website?

If you want to. Some engineers show starting prices for common installs and a fixed service price. Others prefer a quote after a survey. Either way, we write it so it is accurate and clear about what affects the final price.

Will this put me top of Google for boiler installation in my area?

No one can promise rankings. A fast site with clear pages for each heating service, an accurate Google Business Profile and genuine reviews gives Google and customers what they need to understand your business. How you appear depends on your area, competition and reviews, and it takes time.
